Dr. Johann Ramkissoon

Dentist & Practice Owner

Dr. Johann Ramkissoon has lived all over south and central Florida. After earning a Bachelors in Biomedical Sci-ences from the University of South Florida, Dr. Ramkissoon went on to graduate from the University of Florida

College of Dentistry. He is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry, American Dental Association and the Florida Dental Association. He is committed to continuing his education in dentistry and providing the best treatment for his patients.

Dr. Jonathan Weiss

Dentist & Practice Owner

Dr. Jonathan Weiss is one of the owners of Oak Hill Dental Group and has been providing high-quality dental care for over 10 years. A graduate of the University of Florida College of Dentistry, Dr. Weiss is committed to delivering modern, patient-centered care with a focus on comfort, trust, and long-term results.

He takes pride in building strong relationships with his patients and believes that great dentistry starts with listening and understanding each individual’s needs. Whether providing routine care or more advanced treatment. Dr. Weiss strives to make every visit a positive and stress-free experience.

Outside the office, Dr. Weiss enjoys spending time with his family, being involved in his church, and fishing whenever he gets the chance.

Lindsey

Dental Hygienist

Lindsey is a dedicated dental hygienist at Oak Hill Dental who is passionate about helping patients achieve healthy smiles and feel confident in the dental chair. She graduated from Santa Fe College in 2011 and has been practicing dental hygiene ever since, bringing more than a decade of experience to her role. Lindsey joined the Oak Hill Dental team in September 2025, where she quickly became known for her positive energy and patient-focused approach.

In her role, Lindsey works closely with patients to help treat and prevent periodontal disease, maintain healthy smiles, and educate individuals on proper dental hygiene habits. She believes that education and prevention are key to long-term oral health and enjoys empowering patients with the knowledge they need to care for their smiles between visits.

Lindsey’s passion for dentistry began long before her career started. After experiencing difficult dental visits as a child, she became determined to help create a better experience for others. While still in high school, she dual enrolled in college courses and completed her Associate of Science degree along with the prerequisites needed for dental hygiene school by the summer after graduation. This early dedication set the stage for a career centered on compassion and patient comfort.

One of Lindsey’s favorite parts of her job is helping patients overcome dental anxiety and rediscover a sense of ease when visiting the dentist. She strives to make every appointment as pleasant and comfortable as possible, believing that a positive dental experience can make a lasting difference in someone’s overall health and confidence. She also loves working alongside the Oak Hill Dental team, where the supportive environment and positive energy make every day rewarding.

Outside the office, Lindsey enjoys spending quality time with her husband and children. She loves baking with her kids, traveling, tackling home improvement projects, gardening, and enjoying time outdoors at the beach or in the mountains.

Lindsey runs a small cinnamon roll business called Lulabell’s, which allows her to connect with members of the community while sharing something she loves to create. 

Rachel

Dental Hygienist

Rachel is a dedicated dental hygienist at Oak Hill Dental Group with over 12 years of experience in dental hygiene. She received her education and training at South Florida State College and has been a valued member of the Oak Hill team since 2021.

In her role, Rachel is responsible for providing thorough dental cleanings, removing plaque, tartar, and stains, taking diagnostic x-rays, assessing patients for periodontal disease, and educating patients on proper oral hygiene techniques. She is passionate about keeping patients comfortable while delivering high-quality care that supports long-term oral health.

Rachel’s favorite part of her work is helping patients feel at ease and ensuring they receive detailed, effective cleanings for optimal outcomes. She was inspired to join the dental field as a teenager after her dentist invited her to assist with sterilization—an experience that sparked her interest in hygiene and patient care.

Outside of the office, Rachel enjoys spending time with her family, especially her three young daughters. Together, they love being outdoors, caring for their animals, and traveling whenever possible.

Holly

Dental Hygienist

Holly is a dental hygienist at Oak Hill Dental Group, where she provides preventive care that supports lifelong oral health. She performs professional cleanings, takes x-rays, and offers patient education to help each person feel informed and confident about their smile. Holly is passionate about creating a comfortable, positive experience for every patient while working closely with the team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care.

Holly began her dental career after completing the Dental Assisting program at Santa Fe College (2007–2008). She later advanced her training through the Dental Hygiene Bridge program at Santa Fe College (2015–2016). She joined Oak Hill Dental in June 2008 as a dental assistant and has been a valued part of the practice ever since, transitioning into her role as a dental hygienist in 2016.

What Holly enjoys most is connecting with patients and being part of an awesome team that makes every visit welcoming and professional. Outside the office, she loves relaxing and spending time with her husband and their two kids.

Madison

Dental Hygienist

Madison is a certified registered dental hygienist at Oak Hill Dental Group, where she is known for creating a calm, comfortable, and reassuring experience for every patient she serves. Since beginning her career in June 2021, Madison has been dedicated to helping patients feel confident in their care while contributing to a positive, supportive, and reliable team environment.

She graduated from Santa Fe College and received her dental hygiene license in 2021. Immediately following graduation, Madison began her hygiene career in High Springs, where she practiced for a year and a half before relocating to Lake City after the birth of her son to be closer to home. She joined Oak Hill Dental Group in October 2023 and has been an integral part of the team ever since.

Madison’s presence in the office goes beyond clinical care. She takes pride in building meaningful relationships with her patients, helping ease dental anxiety, and empowering individuals through education. Her favorite part of dentistry is watching patients grow in confidence as they better understand and improve their oral health. She values working alongside a team that communicates well, supports one another, and shares a common goal of providing the very best care.

Madison chose the dental field because of her passion for healthcare and her genuine love for caring for others. She finds fulfillment in making a difference in her patients’ overall health and self-confidence through their smiles.

Outside the office, Madison enjoys spending time with her husband and their two young children, ages three and a half and one. She loves staying active, traveling when possible, and taking on home improvement projects. Family time and creating lasting memories are at the heart of everything she does.

Penny

Dental Assistant

Penny is a dedicated and compassionate dental assistant at Oak Hill Dental Group, bringing decades of experience and a personal touch to every patient interaction. In her role, Penny assists the doctor during dental procedures, prepares and sterilizes treatment rooms, takes x-rays, supports treatment planning, and consults with patients about their care. She also monitors patient comfort throughout appointments and ensures instruments and supplies are properly sterilized and stocked.

Penny completed her training through the University of Florida Expanded Functions in Dental Assisting and Radiology and began her career in dentistry in 1995. She joined Oak Hill Dental Group in July 2025, adding a wealth of knowledge and skill to the team. Penny’s journey into dentistry began unexpectedly when she accepted a role in an orthodontic office, where she quickly discovered her passion for patient care and hands-on clinical work.

What Penny enjoys most is building genuine relationships with her patients. She values getting to know them personally and takes pride in educating patients and helping them transform their dental habits. Penny also appreciates that every patient is different, which keeps her work both engaging and rewarding.

Outside the practice, Penny stays active by teaching fitness classes and participating in Bible study. One of her most unique experiences involves traveling regularly with her daughter, who shows cattle—something Penny proudly supports by attending shows several times a month.

With her warmth, experience, and dedication, Penny is a valued member of the Oak Hill Dental Group team and a familiar, friendly face patients trust.

Marina

Dental Assistant

Marina is a dental assistant at Oak Hill Dental, where she is known for her friendly, dedicated approach and her commitment to helping patients feel comfortable and cared for during every visit. She enjoys creating a positive, welcoming environment and supporting both patients and the clinical team throughout a wide range of dental procedures.

Marina received her dental training at the St. Petersburg, Florida Dental Institute and brings five years of experience to her role. She joined Oak Hill Dental in 2024 and continues to take pride in helping each appointment run smoothly while making sure every patient feels at ease.

Edye

Dental Assistant

Edye is a dedicated dental assistant at Oak Hill Dental Group, where she has been a valued member of the team since 2006. With a career in dentistry that began in 1993 in Phillipsburg, New Jersey, Edye brings decades of experience and compassionate care to every patient she serves.

She received her specialized diploma in dental assisting from Northampton Community College in Pennsylvania in 1992 and earned her Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) credential in 1994. Throughout her career, Edye has remained committed to excellence in patient care and clinical support.

In her role, Edye performs four-handed dentistry, takes dental x-rays, sterilizes instruments and handpieces, orders supplies, assists with treatment planning, and helps patients understand their recommended treatment. She is passionate about building relationships with patients and strives to make each visit as comfortable and positive as possible.

Edye was inspired to enter the dental field after having an amazing dentist during her childhood who sparked her interest in dentistry. That early inspiration continues to influence the compassionate care she provides today.

Outside of the office, Edye enjoys cooking and always has a home improvement project underway. She and her husband also love bike riding and hiking together.

Ashley

Dental Assistant

Ashley is a dedicated dental assistant at Oak Hill Dental Group, bringing a strong commitment to patient care and clinical excellence. She began her dental career in 2014 and joined Oak Hill in October 2022.

Ashley completed her training at the Concorde Career Institute and is skilled in chairside support, radiographs, instrument sterilization, and assisting with a wide range of dental procedures. She prioritizes patient comfort and clear communication, ensuring every visit is as positive and stress-free as possible.

Ashley was drawn to the dental field by her passion for healthcare and her desire to help patients feel confident in their smiles while supporting their overall well-being. She values being part of a collaborative, supportive team that encourages growth and excellence in care.

Outside of work, Ashley enjoys staying active and focuses on personal growth and wellness, making time for activities that energize both body and mind.

Sharon

Business Assistant

Sharon has been part of the dental field since 1987 and joined Oak Hill Dental Group in 1996 as a business assistant. In her role, Sharon manages a wide range of responsibilities, including scheduling appointments, checking patients out, filing insurance claims, balancing production and collections, sending statements, following up on unpaid claims, coordinating with specialists, and handling bank deposits. Her experience and attention to detail help keep the office running smoothly while ensuring patients receive excellent care.

Sharon received her training in Expanded Duties from Advantage Career Training, FL, and in Radiological Health & Safety from the University of Florida. Her early love of dentistry began as a child, and while she initially considered becoming a dental hygienist, she found her calling as a dental assistant and later transitioned into her current business-focused role.

Sharon’s favorite part of her work is interacting with patients and helping them achieve a new smile. She also treasures the relationships she has with her colleagues, whom she considers her “second family,” sharing both work and personal memories together.

Outside the office, Sharon enjoys traveling, dining out, shopping, and watching movies. She also has a talent for cooking delicious casseroles and, fun fact, she was once a baton twirler!

Nancy

Business Assistant

Nancy has been part of the dental field since 1994 and brings decades of experience and dedication to her role as Administrative Services Manager at Oak Hill Dental Group. She began her journey in dentistry at the young age of 16 as a sterile tech and graduated from Santa Fe College in Gainesville with a degree from Dental Assisting School in 1995.

Nancy rejoined Oak Hill Dental in 2022, where she oversees front office operations, including patient scheduling, billing, insurance verification, and ensuring the office runs smoothly. Known for her courteous, organized, and helpful nature, Nancy values the social connections she builds with patients, co-workers, and management, making every day enjoyable.

Outside of work, she enjoys home improvement projects, traveling, and spending quality time with friends and family. A fun fact: Nancy has always dreamed of having a pet Highland cow. 

Taylor

Business Assistant

Taylor is a business assistant at Oak Hill Dental Group, where she has been part of the team since 2023. She received her dental training through hands-on experience in the office, learning daily through teamwork, communication, and a strong commitment to personal growth. In her role, Taylor supports both patients and providers by helping the day run smoothly and ensuring patients feel welcomed, comfortable, and cared for from start to finish.

Taylor’s favorite part of working in dentistry is being part of a team that works together to create a positive experience for every patient. She values the fast-paced, supportive environment and takes pride in contributing to an organized, efficient office.

She chose the dental field because she wanted to be in a profession that helps people feel healthier, more confident, and more comfortable. Taylor enjoys knowing her work plays a meaningful role in both patient care and overall well-being.

Outside of the office, Taylor enjoys staying active, spending time outdoors, shopping, and being around her animals. A unique part of her life is that her family participates in dirt track racing. A fun fact many people don’t know about her is that she is an only child.
